RACINE MAN LOST HIS LIFE IN FOREST FIRES
Telegram Received Announcing
Death of Harold Hanson --- Son of Mrs. Christ Hanson, 1212 State Street.
Mrs. Christ Hanson, 1212 State street received a telegram last evening from Wardner, Idaho, stating her son Harold, had met death in the forest fires which are now raging in the western states. No particulars of the death are given, but it is thought that the young man met death, fighting the fires.
Harold Hanson was 35 years of age. He lived in Racine until ten years ago, when he went to the western state, locating in one of the silver mines of Idaho. He was unmarried.
Full particulars of the accident are expected to arrive this evening.
The young man leaves in addition to his mother, four sisters. They are the Misses Olga, Nancy and Beta Hanson of Racine and Mrs. W. Lindquist of Santa Fe, N. M.
The remains will be brought to this city for burial.
